Queen’s Wharf is a $3.6B multi-faceted project in Brisbane, QLD, Australia being delivered by Destination Brisbane Consortium (DBC).

Queens Wharf includes the simultaneous delivery of 6 towers up to 70 stories tall. And is one of the largest commercial development ever in Australia.

DBC uses Matrak to track over 75k products across 15 companies. Tracking materials such as facade panels, joinery, and FF&E. DBC also uses Matrak to manage their warehouse assets.

The Problem

DBC needed a solution to manage and track over 50,000+ different products across 15 companies that were being procured all across the world.

The Solution

DBC created Matrak QR codes to put on every product to make sure every single material was being tracked and easily recalled.  They also onboarded Queen’s Wharf entire supply chain from manufacturer to installer to get full supply chain traceability.

The Result

As a result, DBC has full supply chain data available to support preventative maintenance and provided full traceability of every item from supply to install. Because all subcontractors across Queen’s Wharf was updating material data into Matrak, it provided DBC with one source of truth and a tracking system for multiple trades, suppliers and other stakeholders.
