Women Leading Tech Awards 2021

Although technology remains a heavily male-dominated industry, fortunately, women are increasingly holding the top and highly visible positions in big tech companies.
Some high-profile women in tech include:
β’ Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg
β’ YouTube CEO Susan Wojcicki
β’ IBM CEO Ginni Rometty
Such cases of the efforts of women in the tech industry shouldn’t go unrecognised, which is why we are honoured to take part in B&T’s second ever Women Leading Tech awards. The event provides a chance to recognise the different ways that women are working in technology and shining a spotlight on women leading their respective fields with the awards program.

Like last year, the event will be handing out awards for, Data Science, Design, Engineering, and many more. We are honoured that Matrak’s Head of Growth, Ineke Bulle has been officially named a finalist for this years Executive Leadership award.
An amazing recognition for us here at Matrak, as Equality stands as one of the company’s core value. Constantly trying to do our best to close the gender gap. Over 25% of our leaders are female-identifying and Ineke Bulle has been blazing a trail with Matrak’s since its beginning. Responsible for gaining some of our biggest clients to date and about to establish and lead Matrak’s first ever European office – Ineke continues to lead the way forward for women in this industry.
The awards will be held online on 20th April 2021. In its 2nd year, the gala lunch will also open with an inspiring keynote speaker and host a panel discussion mid-awards to ensure every attendee can walk away feeling inspired and educated.
