Result

• API data sync to keep materials lifecycle live within BIM

• Matrak was also being used as a Warehouse Management System, tracking receipt of all products while allowing site teams to call up goods directly from the factory

Queen’s Wharf is a $3.6B multi-faceted project in Brisbane, QLD, Australia being delivered by Destination Brisbane Consortium (DBC).

Queens Wharf includes the simultaneous delivery of 6 towers up to 70 stories tall. And is one of the largest commercial development ever in Australia.

DBC uses Matrak to track over 75k products across 15 companies. Tracking materials such as facade panels, joinery, and FF&E. DBC also uses Matrak to manage their warehouse assets.

The Problem

DBC wanted to track lifecycle data for every single product in the building, and have that accessible for the “facilities management” and building operations team.

The Solution

Matrak created an API to integrate all DBC’s productions, logistics and installation data into their internal BIM and building operations systems.

The Result

As a result, DBC was able to use Matrak’s API data sync to keep all materials lifecycle live within BIM. Matrak was also being used as a Warehouse Management System, tracking receipt of all products while allowing site teams to call up goods directly from the factory
